Architect turned
product owner

I make complex systems make sense — first as the person who architected them, now as the person who owns what gets built.

Eight years shipping production software, five leading engineering teams. Today I run agentic AI product for TIKI's US key account.

How I actually work

Three habits that survived eight years of production systems and five years of leading the people who build them.

  1. Understand the whole picture

Before anything gets built I map the system end to end — the users, the constraints, the parts nobody wants to touch. Most bad architecture is a misunderstanding that got expensive.

  2. Decide what actually matters

Owning a product means saying no in public. I pick the outcome, order the work behind it, and make the trade-offs legible to the people who have to live with them.

  3. Ship it, then keep it alive

Software that never reaches production is a document. I have run what I built — deployments, incidents, migrations — for hundreds of thousands of users.

The receipts

I started by writing interfaces for factory machines at Krones, which is an excellent way to learn that software has consequences you can hear from across a room.

At IBM I moved from leading a backend team on a regulated healthcare product to sitting with enterprise and German government clients as a solution architect — running architecture workshops, threat models and technical due diligence.

Then three years at Taiko Labs owning every user-facing product end to end: a team of four engineers and a designer, 700k+ users, $40M+ moved, zero downtime on the transfer system.

Now I do the same thinking on the other side of the table — owning agentic AI product for TIKI's US key account, helping them automate with AI-first methods.

Got a system that
nobody can explain?

That is usually where I come in. Architecture, agentic AI product, or an honest second opinion on something you already have — happy to talk either way.
